    Mari Lamborn - Manager

I’m Mari Lamborn, mother to Benji (4) and Saskia (2) who are the delight of my heart. I absolutely love being a mum but I can undoubtedly say that I’m a better mum having partnered with some outstanding Early Childhood Centres in the care and education of my children. I’m passionate about partnering with parents, children’s primary educators, to work together towards a common goal of seeing children learn, grow and thrive!

I completed my Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Primary through Bethlehem Tertiary Institute in 2003 and before becoming a mum, I worked as a youth worker and Children’s Pastor. I have more recently run a construction business alongside my husband in the rebuild of Christchurch and also spent some time relieving in an Early Childhood centre.

I look forward to meeting you and your beautiful family.

    Debbie Winter - Head Teacher

Hi, my name is Debbie Winter. What an honour it is for me to take up the appointment as Head Teacher at Royals. I am the proudest mum of three of the most incredible, and wonderful adult children, Sarah, Jono and Mandi. They are the greatest achievements of my life - nothing surpasses the lifelong journey I walk, loving, teaching and moulding the lives of my children. Alongside them stand their husband and partners Vaughan, Emma and Jase who I feel very privileged and blessed to have as an amazing extension of my family. And then comes Zoe, my angel, my beautiful granddaughter who is the delight of my life. As a nana it leaves me speechless at the joy and dimension she brings to my life.

I am a teacher of twenty-seven years. I trained at Palmerston North Teachers College completing a Diploma of Teaching and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education in 1978. I hold a Certificate in Counselling and Guidance through Spirit Ministry School, Wellington and am an Authorised Triple P Provider through Queensland University. I taught for a year at Aramoho Kindergarten, Wanganui Kgtn Assoc;  five years at Roslyn Kindergarten, Palmerston North Kindergarten Assoc and for the last twenty-one years at Onekawa Kindergarten, Napier Kgtn Assoc.

My greatest passion in life is teaching. Shaping and moulding the lives of pre-schoolers when they are the most vulnerable and open to learning the mysteries and joys of life, inspires me daily to work with these incredible minds to unpack discoveries, knowledge and life skills. It is my honour and privilege to partner with you to provide the very best education and care for your children. Welcome!!
