• Our Centre

  • Located in semi-rural Havelock North, the picturesque vineyard setting of our modern purpose built spacious centre provides unique learning experiences for children.  It has been designed to provide high quality education in a large, safe natural and stimulating environment.

  • Our Philosophy

As a Christian centre we offer a curriculum that reflects our Christian faith in like with Peak Vision Church. This is interweaved through a curriculum based on Te Whāriki denoting a programme that is inclusive, challenging and fun acknowledging our bi cultural heritage and commitment to the Tiriti o Waitangi.

Our holistic play based learning approach to children's development is seen through reflective planning and reviewing of our practice and programme. Goals are set for individuals and the Centre through partnership with our families/whānau and their aspirations for their children, the Christian community in which we are centred, and the wider community that we are involved in.

We operate in a manner that is open, honest and transparent, communicating with mutual respect with all parties.

  • Our Environment

    Outdoor Areas

The centre's outdoor area is designed to promote physical development and exploration. Our natural environment offers different play spaces,  and grassy areas for our children to enjoy.

Our playground facilities allow children to challenge their strength with a carpentry tablemonkey barsclimbing frames, and rope ladders. Your children will challenge their creativity in our huge sandpitwheat bucket, or lovely gardens. Did I mention the raised whare? A favourite with all the children as they test their imagination and create lasting play memories. Our outdoor spaces are ever evolving as we make regular changes depending on our education programme.

    Indoor Areas

The centre's purpose built modern and open plan indoor area offers a variety of play areas and activities to stimulate their creativity, imagination, and inspire play. Our indoor space allows children to explore and express their creativity through painting, drawing, collage, and sculpting with playdough or clay.  Blocks, books and puzzles also provide a stimulating activity for children and can be found throughout the centre.

Our child-friendly open kitchen provides a functional space where children can learn about their food while baking and cooking delicious nutritious treats.

We have a designated, peaceful, well-ventilated sleep room for children who require a rest during the day. Our children's bathrooms are light and modern and designed to encourage independence.

  • My little miss loved her time at Royals, and has now transitioned perfectly into school. She was nurtured beautifully and given the best start possible. Thanks team!!!

  • I am so grateful to have my daughter in this center! Teachers are amazing with 20+ years experience! All children thrive of individual attention, and care. I just love seeing my daughter develop and grow in leaps and bounds with all that she is learning at such a young age!
