The curriculum at Royals Early Learning Centre appreciates and reflect the interests, uniqueness, faith and the developmental needs of all children in our centre. We understand that all children are different and learning programmes are designed to fit the specific needs of each child.
Children will have the opportunity to grow at their own pace and develop a respect for others in a tolerant and calm environment. We believe that when children feel known, loved and celebrated they become confident in exploring their creativity and curiosities in the world around them. It is our teachers’ priority and delight to intentionally cultivate a loving relationship with the children in our care, enabling them to engage in quality play, resulting in quality learning. Through exposure to a variety of media and materials, children are free to grow and learn.
At Royals children are not separated into age groups. By having all the children together, we believe that younger children learn by watching and interacting with the older children. The older children learn how to solve conflicts, develop empathy, understand the needs of others and support the younger children.
We provide morning and afternoon tea throughout the day that includes fresh fruit and vegetables. We have also introduced sandwich making, where children are encouraged to develop their independence and capabilities in this everyday task.
Each week we plan activities to help children experience different aspects of life such as gardening, growing vegetables, water-play and arts & crafts, as well as many different sports. These various activities are all designed to enrich your child's life and help them create lasting memories.
At Royals Early Learning Centre, our aim is to provide quality care and education for children based on Christian values. We have created a caring environment where children grow and flourish physically, mentally and spiritually. Click here to learn more about our philosophy.
